To save a word file as a PDF for Windows users:
Open Your Word Document
Open the document you wish to save as a pdf in Microsoft Word.
Step1: Go to the File Menu. Click on File in the top left corner of the screen.

Step: 2 Select Save As

You can press F12  


Step 3: Choose a folder in which you would like to save the PDF.

Click this PC > Desktop


In my case I am saving it to This PC and after click on Desktop. After doing these you'll see the "Save as" dialogue box.


Step 4: From the Save as type dropdown menu, select PDF.
You will see .docx,.txt etc. scroll down and select PDF
Change Output Settings (Optional)


Choose the check box next to Open file after publishing if you want the PDF to open automatically once the conversion is complete.
Save the File
Click on Save to convert your Word file into a PDF.
